Welcome

The purpose of the MPO sponsored Transit Management Assessment study is to identify potential alternates to the current concept of contracting administative services to a contractor.

While the present administrator has consistently performed for the transit stakeholders, the MPO desires to evaluate alternatives because:

- Only one organization has pursued the Transit Board request for proposals to administer service.
- An action plan is needed to sustain transit in the region if there are no submitters in the future.

  1. does anyone ride these buses? They always are empty. People in the know say the taxpayer cost per rider is anywhere from $14 to $50 a rider and that it's hard to get data from Bisman. I would like to see the city cap the cost per rider to some reasonable amount.
